Political View: His family's connections and moderate wealth always made him feel superior, but he was never a supporter of Voldemort. He took very little part in the war. He was aware of it, of course, and hoped that Voldemort would be defeated. It just wasn't something that he was focused on. It seemed too big, and rather removed from his life. Cormac is a Pureblood, so he wasn't terribly concerned.

After his father's death and the ramifications of him following Voldemort (however unwillingly) he feels quite strongly opposed to all Death Eaters and wishes he was more involved in the war.

Appearance

Height: 6'1
Weight: 180 pounds

Hair: Dark Brown
Build: Cormac is muscular, but not overly so. He's rather average, but taller than short. Despite his sleek chest and body, his face still retains a bit of a youthful look.
Dress style: Lately, he goes for comfort and a laid back sort of style. He very rarely wears robes.

Defining Marks: His hazel eyes are strangely beautiful, and he has a contagious grin. He carries himself in a lazy sort of swagger.

Personality

Cormac's personality has mellowed considerably since Hogwarts. If anything, he thinks back on his superior behavior with embarrassment. The fact that his family name is now shredded to bits has helped him come to the realization that it's all bullshit. He's much more cynical now, and more self contained. He can be charming and easy going when he's relaxed, but his tendency to scowl and bully still pop up from time to time. He's not above fighting, though he's forced to bear things that he wouldn't have before.

Strengths: He's a good friend, and incredibly loyal to anyone he feels deserves it. When he's happy and relaxed, he's quick to smile and playful. He's kind and giving.

Weakness: He's sensitive to slights and very on edge about what happened to his father. He can be possessive and jealous of those he cares for, partially out of fear of losing them. His temper is still a problem and he's likely to snap out with something hurtful out of anger. He also lives in his head a good bit, which means he dwells on things too long and finds insults that probably weren't meant.

Psychology

Extrovert/Introvert: Extrovert with a tendency to dwell on things.

Sexuality

He didn't have much luck with girls in Hogwarts. At the time, he had a chip on his shoulder that seemed to put girls off. Since graduating, he got into a serious relationship with Emily Daniels, a proper french Witch from a good family, but when the mess with his father came out she broke things off quickly. Since then, he's kept his relationships casual and doesn't commit much to anyone. He may experiment with his sexuality.

Lifestyle

Occupation: He always planned on following his family into the Ministry and getting into politics. Now that he's on the Registry and looked down on, he's not sure what he wants to do with his life. At the moment, he's sort of drifting around. He spends his time either with his mother or at play. He's quickly becoming bored of this though, and is looking for something more.

Financial Status: His family was wealthy and now he's inherited the house and money, despite his mother still being alive. His wealth doesn't compare to some other Pureblood families, but they're well provided for.

Cormac was extremely close to his father before his death. He had no idea that he was working under Voldemort, and he strenuously disagrees with any implication that his father was a willing follower. Even so, right up until his death, Cormac didn't notice a difference in his father's behavior toward him. That has placed the slightest doubt into his mind about him, but it's something he refuses to think about, let alone speak out loud. Now, with the social implications of his father's behavior, he dotes on his mother. She's fallen into a depression, and drinks liberally. Despite his best efforts, he can't pull her out of it. In the back of his mind, he's afraid she'll kill herself, and he spends a lot of time with her in an effort to keep her spirits up.

History from student days at Hogwarts to the present time

At Hogwarts, he was pushy and too forward. He believed so fully in his own right to things that he didn't always stop to prove himself, but just assumed that the others would give him the place he deserved. Part of this came from being doted on by his parents as an only child. He also acted out because others received the attention that he thought he deserved. Now, he would appreciate less attention. He dresses casually and doesn't go out of his way to prove to people how great he is. His one serious relationship ended very badly and he's cynical toward letting people in to hurt him. Because of that, he keeps his affairs light and casual. He often frequents Muggle nightclubs and events. There, he can let himself relax and blend in.
